Full-time Purchasing Agent needed for an industrial company in Beaumont.  We are looking for an astute, detail-oriented, agent to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are cost-efficient,  high quality and comply with company standards.   Responsibilities include: procuring high-quality parts & supplies, evaluating suppliers, products & services, negotiating contracts, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases and maintaining accurate records. This position will also pick up and deliver parts & supplies and candidate must be able to safely tie down loads. Purchasing agent should have an analytical mind and always keep up with product and service trends. Mechanical and Drilling/Dredging Equipment knowledge is a huge Plus!!   This is a temp-to-hire career position.  Business hours are Monday- Friday 8 am- 5 pm and the starting pay is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, DOE.
