General Laborers needed for long-term assignment in Beaumont. We are seeking candidates with a good work ethic, reliable transportation and a minimum of one (1) year verifiable work history. This is an entry-level position with job duties consisting of but not limited to:
Manual tasks involved in building, grounds, and street maintenance
Picking up litter
Yard maintenance
Digging holes/ditches
Loading and unloading jobsite materials
Cleaning and properly maintaining tools
And any other duties as assigned
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is helpful. Qualified candidates must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a background check & drug test. All positions are long-term with the possibility of becoming permanent with the municipality. Work shift is determined by crew assignment and crews work 8 to 10 hours per day with required overtime, when necessary, Starting pay is $11.00 per hour with the potential for overtime every week.
