General Laborers needed for long-term assignment in Beaumont. We are seeking candidates with a good work ethic, reliable transportation and a minimum of one (1) year verifiable work history. This is an entry-level position with job duties consisting of but not limited to:
Manual tasks involved in building, grounds, and street maintenance
Yard maintenance
Digging holes/ditches
Loading and unloading jobsite materials
Cleaning and properly maintaining tools
And any other duties as assigned
Work Zone Set experience up is a huge Plus
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is helpful. Qualified candidates must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a background check & drug test. All positions are long-term with the possibility of becoming permanent with the municipality. Work shift is determined by crew assignment and crews work 8 to 10 hours per day with required overtime, when necessary, Starting pay is $11.00 per hour.
